Politics. Betrayal. Thinly veiled metaphor.

Faced with eternal damnation after a familiar cabal of technocrat tycoons usurp heaven’s throne, a once-righteous web warrior must atone for the sins of her past to make a final plea for salvation.
And Up, They Sprung is a 64-page surrealist dark comedy graphic memoir that reflects on my upbringing in the epicenter of the early 2000’s tech world as it relates to the eternal war between heaven and hell and the current state of tech culture. Shifting through several motifs, the comic draws from John Milton’s seminal epic poem, Paradise Lost, and the many mainstream media works that reference it.
